Face update

Worked on a face for a bit. Still not done. But an update.

I am convinced nothing is ever done. Thats ok though.

Had no idea it was a holiday. A touch of grog for me perhaps. This face is coming to life . . . You are making the personality emerge. I need to think outside that box and write . . . Maybe the story will emerge too.

Happy day after Pirate Day!

I think this face may be Mr. Farley from "Halloween for Pete's Sake" . . . here's the first 3 pgs:

(1) "Finish up now, Peter", mom said. "You know you've got places to go and people to see!"

But Petey wasn't in any hurry. The kitchen was warm and cozy, and Mom sure could bake a mean chocolate chip cookie.

(2) "Peter Paul McManus, hoist your hiney out of that chair this instant!" Uh oh, now Mom was using her best "you better listen or else" voice, so Petey knew it was time to go. Mom wagged a finger at Petey and said "March downstairs Mister and get your costume on or you'll miss Halloween altogether".

(3) Oh no! Petey had forgotten that his Halloween costume was in the basement. Petey didn't like the basement, not one bit. "Do I hafta Mom"? Petey pleaded, "you could get it for me!" Mom scrunched up her face and crossed her arms, all the answer Petey needed.

I think (most of it is still in my head somewhere so not entirely sure!)the story would take Petey through various scary locales that turn out to not be so scary after all, on the way to a great trick-or-treat experience at Mr. Farley's (he's not such a bad guy, once you get to know him). Petey of course may be the other photoshop'd face, or someone similar.

Probably not very good, but an aspiring writer has to take a swing sometimes, right!

Happy Monday (if there is such a thing) . . .
